Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties is offering a Job Seekers Success Group for active job seekers who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change.  The next group will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. via Zoom. The topic for this session is   “How to Nail Your Next Interview” presented by Ken Sher, Sher Coaching.

So, you finally get to the hiring manager of the company you’ve targeted for the last few months and the interviewer throws the proverbial curve ball at you. “Aren’t you overqualified for this job?” “What’s your current salary?” “How much would you charge to wash every window in the city?” You can prepare for these situations. Bring your most challenging interview question and this highly interactive session will help you get ready for it. You’ll learn:

• Effective ways to handle phone interviews
• Tips for virtual interviews
• How to handle YOUR most difficult interview questions or challenges 
• What not to say in an interview

 

To be successful with your interviews, you need to prepare, practice, and have a process to answer questions. This will be a highly interactive workshop and we will be taking requests from the audience about interview questions that challenge you the most or those that you just want a different perspective on. So, bring your questions to this workshop to help you prepare to win your next great job opportunity.
