Our Worldwide Partners

The mission of the Jewish Federation of West–Central New Jersey is to invest in Jewish life by building, supporting, and safeguarding Jewish communities locally, in Israel, and around the world, now and forever.

Together we can meet new challenges and impact our world for a better tomorrow.

The following worldwide partners offer programs and services that receive funding from our Annual Campaign.

The Jewish Federations of North America

The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) represents 146 independent Jewish Federations and 300 smaller network communities. The Federation movement, collectively among the top 10 charities on the continent, protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and torah (Jewish learning).

The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee

Active today in more than 70 countries, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and its partners work to rescue Jewish lives at risk, bring relief to Jews in need, renew lost bonds to Jewish identity and Jewish culture, and help Israel overcome the social challenges of its most vulnerable citizens, both Jewish and non-Jewish.

Jewish Agency for Israel

For over 90 years the Jewish Agency (JAFI) has been providing the global framework for Aliyah (immigration to Israel), ensuring global Jewish safety, strengthening Jewish identity and connecting Jews to Israel and one another. JAFI also conveys the voice of the Jewish People to the State of Israel to help shape its society.

The Village is a home, school and safe haven for at-risk immigrant youth from around the world. The Educational Initiatives expands Yemin Orde’s methodology, the Village Way, to youth villages, schools and therapeutic communities with high populations of at-risk youth.

Jewish National Fund

Jewish National Fund-USA (JNF) is a nonprofit organization and United Nations NGO (non-governmental organization) that gives all generations of Jews a unique voice in building a prosperous future for the land of Israel and its people. JNF began in 1901 as a dream and vision to reestablish a homeland in Israel for Jewish people everywhere. Jews the world over collected coins in iconic JNF Blue Boxes, purchasing land and planting trees until ultimately, their dream of a Jewish homeland was a reality.
