Light up your Chanukah with creativity, community and connection! On December 10 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the JCC, we’re rolling out a special evening just for families. Start by designing your very own family chanukiah — we’ll supply all the craft materials, you bring the imagination and the sparkle!

After the crafting fun, dig into a hearty dinner complete with latkes and sufganiyot (because every celebration needs delicious treats!). Then we’ll gather together for the big finish: watching the local Chanukah parade and lighting the candles together on the 3rd night of Chanukah. It’s the perfect blend of hands-on fun, family time, meaningful ritual and community spirit. Come ready to craft, to celebrate and to shine bright together!

• Preschool-2nd grade - families will be given an assortment of arts and crafts supplies and materials to design their own chanukiah. Each chanukiah will be unique and special to your family!
• 3rd grade-6th grade - families will build their own chanukiah out of wood material. Learn how to saw, hammer, and nail your handmade chanukiah.
